As its name suggests, the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Conference is one of the largest conference hosted by Harvard University Conferences on global scale. This is the first time it has been held in India in both offline and online modes since outbreak. The official website has further information about the conference. It was held at IIIT Delhi this year.
The Harvard Conference in February and the Asia Conference in August are the two main conferences held by HPAIR each year. Plenary sessions, panels, keynote addresses, seminars, and case studies are just a few of the engaging ways that the conferences offer stimulating forums for discussing issues and developments in the global scene. The conferences bring students together to discuss topics ranging from international security to natural resources with a renowned collection of speakers.
Process to Attend the Conference
Now, in order to attend the conference as a delegate, one must successfully complete the application process. The application required some basic information, such as the applicant’s name, country of residence, age, gender, and field of study. Along with that, the most crucial component is included, which consists of two essays. If your application stands out from the competition, you will be notified via email letting you know that you have been shortlisted for an interview. The interview was more of a chat than a formal interview because it served to confirm the information I provided in my essays and resume and to get to know me better.
And Then Finally
I am very glad to be selected for HPAIR’22. Through a very rigorous procedure for the Harvard University-hosted HPAIR Asia Conference 2022 (ACONF), HPAIR receives over 50,000 applicants from 70+ countries annually, and only 2–3% of them finally get accepted. Applicants go through an extensive screening process and only the top 2–3% of them finally get accepted.

Attending the Conference was very unique and great experience, One cannot simply put it into words on how awesome it is. We get to network with global leader and your fellow delegates around the globe, across various industries. The impact challenge, Executive seminar (optional but worth every penny taking it ), international night , fireside chats and panel discussions each and every activity is refreshing and informative. I got to meet many Industry Experts, worked on impact challenges and many more.
And Finally It Comes to end. For 30th Year anniversery HPAIR has Decided to host the asia conference in Delhi. While my trip to delhi I’ve also had the time to visit places like India Gate, Red Fort etc.
I would strongly suggest everyone irrespective whether they are a student, employee or business owner to attend a conference such as this will help each one in it’s own way.
